New Music: Atlas Sound – ‘Walkabout’ [f. Panda Bear]
“Walkabout” is the first song off of Atlas Sound’s (aka Bradford Cox of Deerhunter) Logos, due out October 20th on Kranky. The track gets a hand from Noah Lennox/Panda Bear, who adds vocals and his fondness for looped samples.
More importantly, this officially begins the debate – could this be a friendlier Atlas Sound album? Cox has indicated that Logos is likely to be much less “introverted” than previous releases. Either way, call me excited.
