Commercial Madness: Flaming Lips Say ‘Yeah’ to Kraft Dressing

Flaming Lips

The Flaming Lips have been in the news a lot lately for strange reasons (which I guess is only fitting for such a wonderfully strange band).

First, there was their well-publicized tiff with the Arcade Fire.

Then came the announcement that the Lip’s song “Do You Realize??” was named the official state rock song of their home state of Oklahoma. (Not a joke.)

So it was somewhat surprising to see the following commercial this morning featuring “Yeah Yeah Yeah Song” by Coyne and company shilling salad dressing for Kraft.

MP3:

The Flaming Lips – “Yeah Yeah Yeah Song”
The Flaming Lips – “Do You Realize??”
The Flaming Lips – “Do You Realize??” [The Postal Service Remix]

such a classy reply from Win! it only shows how humble the Canadians really are. Flaming Lips on the other hand should really come back to earth, they have attention already
