Commercial Madness: State Farm & Sinatras are ‘Feelin Kinda Sunday’
This one’s been a favorite around these parts since State Farm started running it back at the beginning of the NFL season. I held off from posting earlier, but with my Ravens playing in the AFC championship today I’m feelin’ kinda Sunday myself.
The song comes from Nancy Sinatra’s sophomore album, How Does That Grab You?, and features her famous pop in a sunshiny duet. While it’s not as original or interesting as her work with long-time partner Lee Hazelwood, it’s good ol’ pop music and an inspired choice for this commercial.
