Devendra Banhart Remixes Phoenix
Most of the time when you hear the word “remix” it’s accompanied by a face-palm or two. But hear me out on this one – I’m seriously debating if Devendra Banhart’s remix of Phoenix’s track, “Rome,” is better than the original. Weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section…

I usually hate remixes too but will definitely give this a listen. Rome is a greeeat song.
The remix is def better than the original. I’ve been listening to the whole album and never even noticed Rome. But when I listened to the remix, damn, I gotta say it’s one of my favorites now
Agreed. This is very solid. Almost makes Phoenix sound like Broken Social Scene – which doesn’t really sound that great on paper, but it really works.
Who’d have thunk that Devendra would throw his hat in the remix ring?
