Duffy: The Winehouse Antichrist Emerges
Unless you’ve been under a rock, you’ve no doubt noticed that Amy Winehouse is a paparazzi wet dream. With everything from assault charges, drug problems and rumors that producer Mark Ronson will never work with her again, some of us may lament that the soulful singer’s popular career seems to be ending as quickly as it began.
But have no fear! Duffy, another UK import (Wales) seems to be on her way to courting the American media just as Winehouse sinks into her own personal hell. She even has the whole one name thing going on. Did someone at A&M Records have insider information? Or is this just as the Bible foretold?
Ok, to be fair, Duffy’s album is pretty good. Get familiar with the Winehouse Antichrist on her new album, Rockferry.
