Fleet Foxes: New Video ‘From the Basement’
We’re pretty gaga about Fleet Foxes around here. We also tend to love just about everything that comes out of the From the Basement series. You can imagine how our hearts were aflutter when we heard that the Foxes brought their baroque folk goodness to the high-def environs of the FtB studio.
Amazingly, the video actually lives up to our high expectations well. As Scooter put it, their performance of “Blue Ridge Mountains” is “flawless”. Enjoy:

I was using the editorial “we” (y’know, the royal “we”, man…) but I do know that everyone else on the staff has Robin Pecknold posters over their beds.
