Is Tiny Tim Hiding out in Grizzly Bear?
[Editorial note: This is the first of what we hope will be many posts from Scooter. Is it me or does Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear strangely resemble cult favorite Herbert Khaury, better known as Tiny Tim? “Tiptoe through the Tulips” anyone?
Regardless, Grizzly Bear is an excellent Brooklyn band and Droste has one of the best ears for harmony in indie music (not to mention one of the best noses). If Tim Burton ever jumps on the biopic bandwagon and directs a film about Tiny Tim, Droste is a lock for the lead role. You decide.
