Random at best, this mix features a combination of new and old – all of which are completely lodged in my head. I had to bust out a little MGMT because I saw them play BFD 2008 yesterday, and I couldn’t really wait to leak a little My Morning Jacket before Evil Urges hits stores on June 10 (ok, so it has been streaming from their Myspace page for a while now).

I’d like to give a particular shout out to “New Generation” a track from the Universals that made the cut on an awesome Florida Funk compilation I picked up the other day while wasting time at Amoeba. Stuff is like butter – that should make up for only posting seven tracks instead of my usual 10.
