Neko Case Releases Middle Cyclone Single, Gives to Charity
I was a huge fan of Neko Case’s last solo effort, Fox Confessor Brings the Flood. And if “People Got A Lotta Nerve” is any indication of what’s to come on Middle Cyclone (March 3), call me excited. What’s more, I just got an email encouraging me to post for charity – now that’s a breath of fresh air.
Neko and Anti- Records will donate five dollars to the Best Friends Animal Society for every blog post and one dollar for every user of iLike that adds the song to his/her profile.
The promotion ends February 3, 2009, so get to it people…

True, if embarrassing, story: This song used to scare me when I was a kid – I think my four-year-old mind took the “man eating” parts a little more literally than Messrs. Hall and Oates had intended.
