Noise Pop 2009 Preview: Friday Shows
Three down, three to go. Tonight’s round of Noise Pop shows is just as strong as the past three have been, with indie chanteuse St. Vincent (who’s new album, Actor is due out May 5), Syracuse’s Ra Ra Riot, iPhone-hockers The Submarines, Dear and the Headlights.
Local favorites The Morning Benders, Port O’Brien and Maus Haus each get a headlining spot.
In addition to the official Noise Pop shows, The Fader magazine is hosting their third and final free happy hour at the Diesel’s Post Street store featuring DJ spots by Cut Off Your Hands, Les Savy Fav and The Submarines as well as acoustic performances by Ra Ra Riot and Loch Lomond.
