Sweet poster too! I want one.

Sooo…. that’s pretty ridiculous. I’d happily shell out that kind of coin to see all those bands. My only question is, what the hell is Jack Johnson doing headlining when Wilco, Beck and Broken Social Scene (and even Ben Harper and Widespread Panic) are playing?

I heard lyrics born tonight on soundcheck, looked at his website

    So now 262$ is justified!!

What do you mean what the hell is Jack Johnson doing headlining when Wilco, Beck and Broken Social Scene (and even Ben Harper and Widespread Panic) are playing? He’s an incredible musician! Have you even heard him?
I’m not saying the others are not, I love both Beck and Ben Harper, but Jack Johnson deserves a headlining spot, along with Tom Petty.

[...] my purchase, I figured out the $262 price came out to roughly $6.25 per band (there are currently 42 acts signed on). Even if I only catch half of those, it’s still only $12.50 a pop. I can live with that – [...]

OK, How many of you were priviledged to see Jackie Greene? Don’t miss him! To me he has so much soul and he’s one of the best lyricists of our time. Seeing him is like going to church for me. See him, Hear him and experience a great musician of our time.

I was bummed to have missed him. They put a lot of bands I wanted to see in really early time slots unfortunately. If I’d been less lazy I could have seen some great music with small crowds…
