Panther Picks (Episode 14) – Radiohead Live at Outside Lands (Complete Bootleg)

For this week’s episode of Panther Picks I decided to post Radiohead’s performance at Outside Lands. Why? Because I’m obsessed and it was a life-changing event. Duh. Special thanks to KC who sent me this great bootleg recording that sounds like it was taken directly from the soundboard – in other words, it’s power-outage free. However, due to file sizes I did have to upload a few songs to BOX.NET. Forgiveness please.

Radiohead Live at Outside Lands Festival (8/22/08):

  1. Radiohead – “15 Step”
  2. Radiohead – “Reckoner”
  3. Radiohead – “Airbag”
  4. Radiohead – “There There”
  5. Radiohead – “All I Need”
  6. Radiohead – “Nude”
  7. Radiohead – “Talk Show Host”
  8. Radiohead – “National Anthem”
  9. Radiohead – “The Gloaming”
  10. Radiohead – “Videotape”
  11. Radiohead – “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi”
  12. Radiohead – “Idioteque”
  13. Radiohead – “Karma Police”
  14. Radiohead – “Jigsaw Falling Into Place”
  15. Radiohead – “Just”
  16. Radiohead – “Exit Music (For a Film)”
  17. Radiohead – “Bodysnatchers”
  18. Encore:

  19. Radiohead – “Pyramid Song”
  20. Radiohead – “You and Whose Army?” & “Paranoid Android” {BOX.NET}
  21. Radiohead – “Fake Plastic Trees”
  22. Radiohead – “Everything In Its Right Place” {BOX.NET}

    Ha…Uncle Corey- Did you notice that Mr. Greenwood picked up the A’s/Mariners game in the first few seconds of “National Anthem” ?

    “4-1 Mariners bottom of the fifth, the pitch to Ibanez….”

    Yes. He did. He couldn’t stop talking about it either… (Not that I would have shut up if they’d chosen an Orioles game instead…)

    Wow! Fantastic that someone managed to grab the soundboard-quality feed. What a treat – kudos!

    Ummm. Holy shit, this sounds phenomenal! If only for the damn sound cutting out … Nice work VP!

    And, yes, I was obsessed with the M’s part. I sent it to all my friends, AND put short video up on a couple M’s blogs. What a freaking nerd.

    This concert is exceptional. I was so lucky to score a [free] ticket about an hour before leaving work. Had never previously saw Radiohead live, and am now sold!!! The sound clarity was immaculate live, and my ears are just as happy to re-live the experience. Thanks for sharing this soundboard.

    Awesome quality. Thanks, man.

    By the way, Bodysnatchers is incomplete in case you didn’t know.

    Either way, thanks for sharing this great show!

    [...] Rainbows. Hmmm. So I asked the cute girl behind the counter where it was from and of course…. Outside lands! One of the best shows of my life and now I can remember every beautiful moment. Amazing [...]

    bodysnatchers and all i need is incomplete on the recording because the sound cut out at the concert. I was there. The show was amazing! but the sound cut out twicw in mid song and was super annoying. Parts of the crowd were chanting “Refund! Refund!” You can hear thom refer to the sound going out twice in the recording. “Who Spilled beer in the plug?”and again after all i need, ” I dont know what the fuck is going on.”
