Sonic Youth’s new LP, The Eternal, is due out June 9 on Matador Records. Thankfully, the band has given us a sneak peak at “Sacred Trickster” to hold us over.

The Junior Boys just released Begone Dull Care, and to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Friends who saw them at Coachella and at San Francisco’s Bimbo’s tell me their live show is a must see.

Is Deerhunter on steroids? Seems like it. Recently members of the band have put out The Floodlight Collective LP (Lotus Plaza) and several Atlas Sound 7″ tracks like “Springtime Instrumental,” “Coffin Trick” and “No. 4.” Did I mention that the Rainwater Cassette Exchange EP is due out in June?
