Commercial Madness: M. Ward & Budweiser

Budweiser’s going indie. The King of Beers tapped indie-troubadour M. Ward for their recent “It’s What We Do” commercials. The ongoing series features “Never Had Nobody Like You” — a duet with Ward’s She & Him partner, actress Zooey Deschanel, off of 2009’s Hold Time.

NoisePop 2008 is Almost Here

The 16th-annual NoisePop concert series is set to spread its indie goodness across San Francisco in just a few weeks.
The full schedule is up, and it’s another eclectic mix this year, with highlights including the Magnetic Fields, Mountain Goats, Walkmen, and She & Him (indie-folk genius M Ward and the impossibly cute Zooey Deschanel).
More San [...]
