While the folks at APE Concerts haven’t announced the schedule for the Outside Lands Festival [Update: full schedule now available here], most of the bands involved have which night they’re playing on their respective sites. So we did a little investigative journalism to cobble together a schedule.
According to their site, Radiohead is scheduled to headline the opening night of the three-day festival. Tom Petty’s site notes that they will play Saturday night, leaving MoR Jack Johnson to close out the festival on Sunday night

OK, we’ve given a lot of attention to the Outside Lands Festival in this here part of West Blogistan – The Stranger and Vague Panther have drooled over it several times – but I’m going to play devil’s advocate. What if the lineup is too narrow, too indie-rock intensive without enough goodies for those of us who like to branch out. Yeah, it’s got Radiohead, but it’s also got Jack Johnson and Tom Petty. Good artists, but if I’m paying nearly $300 after fees for a show, I want those two nowhere near it. Click here to read more

Please, oh please be true. I promise I’ll be nice. I swear. I’ll start contributing to charity. Please don’t let the August 22 Radiohead concert in Golden Gate Park be a nasty internet rumor. Please let this Outside Lands Festival be a gift from the gods.
SF Weekly just posted that Radiohead, Tom Petty and Jack Johnson are going to headline a festival in Golden Gate Park this August. We’ll post any and all updates.
