Nah, that’s not selling out at all. I’ll be the first to admit that Jimmy Fallon made me laugh on SNL. Sure, all he did was laugh at his own jokes, but it made me laugh.

I’m fully supportive of whatever choices they make, but I can’t help but wonder if they couldn’t get a better gig. It’s just that this feels a little like playing the Copa in Atlantic City…

It’d be different if it were for Conan or the Daily Show (or even Letterman… or Leno…)

Yeah, touring has got to be tough – especially if you do it as much as they do. I’d be more than happy to play once a night in the same place for, what I can only imagine is great money.

I agree with Vague Panther. Don’t think it will last more than a season….at least I hope.

Would be really smart of them if they had the Roots kick it off and then held a contest or battle of the bands to have a new house band each month.
